Edlund (pictured) will present an “Artist in Session” on June 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Fieldstone Fine Art Gallery, 147 East Main Street, Ramsey. Edlund will paint on location at the gallery. Adults and children will have a rare opportunity to observe this master painter at work and discuss her work, which is on display at the gallery. Edlund is known for intimate romanticism in landscapes. One reviewer compared the excellence of her work to that of John Constable, one of England’s greatest landscape artists. She was highly influenced by the Hudson River School of painters, particularly George Inness, Albert Bierstadt, and William Trost Richards; and the drawings of Albrecht Durer. The demonstration is open to the public. For more information call (201) 962-3636 or visit www.FieldstoneFineArt.com. Break the Highway Trend! ...not your community’s back.
