The show will be held June 7 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Bottagra Restaurant, 80 Wagaraw Road, Hawthorne. Tickets are $100 and include light fare and cocktails. Lions Club hosts Annual Carnival The Wyckoff Lions Club will hold its carnival at the Guardian Angel Church in Allendale June 8 through 13. The carnival will be open from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Wednesday will be wristband night; children can have unlimited access to the rides with a $25 wristband purchase. The Lions Club donates 100 percent of the profits from this event to local charities and to offer scholarships to the three local high schools. ‘Secret Garden’ house and garden tour set The Women Gardeners of Ridgewood are hosting the “Secret Gardens” tour June 6 and 7. The owners of nine properties in Ridgewood and surrounding towns will welcome the public into their private gardens on Sunday, June 6 from noon to 5 p.m. and Monday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. Proceeds of this tour support many of the ongoing community projects of the Women Gardeners of Ridgewood, including Green Kids, scholarships for students of environmental studies, community education, and the gardens of the Ridgewood Public Library. Barn Sale donations sought The Concerned Citizens of Allendale, the non-profit group that owns and manages the John Fell House, is seeking donations for its Barn Sale to raise funds for the restoration and maintenance of the historical house and property. Gently used household items, furniture, sporting goods, tools, children’s items, and lamps are needed for the sale. Items may be dropped off on the two Saturdays before the sale, June 12 and 19, from 9 a.m. to noon at 475 Franklin Turnpike, Allendale. Sale items are not from the Fell House. YMCA offers teen trip summer camp Teens and pre-teens, ages 12 to 15, are invited to enjoy the fun of summer travel with the YMCA’s Teen Trip Camp while their parents have peace of mind. Five days a week for six weeks, July 5 through Aug. 13, the Y will take teens to area hot and cool spots. Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and there is the option to register for one or more weeks. Featuring a different trip each day, itineraries include destinations such as Dorney Park, Mountain Creek, the Ready to roll Ramsey Police officers recently spent time helping Tisdale School third graders check the safety of their bicycles, register the bikes, and instructing the children on proper use and safety. Rebuilding Together hosts Trivia Night The nonprofit Rebuilding Together Bergen County will hold a Trivia Night on Friday, June 4 from 7 to 11 p.m. at The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood, 215 West Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood. This fundraising night of brain-busting fun will have teams competing for fun and prizes in an interactive trivia contest. Attendees may reserve a table for a group of up to 10 for $200 or buy individual tickets for $25 each. Players begin the night with sandwiches and soda (mixers provided, BYOB) while they view and bid on auction items. All proceeds directly benefit the animals at this no-kill shelter. RBARI is hosting a Flashback to the ‘80s buffet dinner and dance fundraiser on June 18 at American Legion Post 199 in Hawthorne. Corrected conference hours Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff will hold a Caring and Compassion Conference Sept. 17 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and Sept.18 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. This two-day conference is specifically designed to equip, inspire, and encourage laypeople involved in all forms of caring ministries in their local congregations.
