Kindergarten registration urged The Mahwah Board of Education urges parents of children who will be five years old on or before Oct. 1, 2010 to register their children for kindergarten. The following documentation is necessary for enrollment: a birth certificate, a record of required immunizations, and four proofs of residence. At least one proof of residence must be a property tax bill, deed(s), a fully executed rental lease, or other evidence of property ownership. Other acceptable documents include a current utility bill, financial account information, or court order.
