He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Wyckoff. Meyers of Montague, Richard Holborow of New York, New York, Linda Darlington of Brandon, Florida, and Ginny Henderson of Hawthorne, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and his sister, Helen Zlotucha of Greentown, Pennsylvania. He is a past member of the American Legion Post and a retired member of the Midland Park Fire Department. He is survived by his wife Sally of Brookhaven, Mississippi, his sons Joseph Rector of Midland Park, Donald Rector of Charlotte, South Carolina, and John Rector of Petal, Mississippi, and six grandchildren.
