John E. McWeeney Jr., and James R. Silkensen, co-presidents of the NJ Bankers Association, recently visited the Atlantic Stewardship Bank main office in Midland Park to present awards to nine individuals for 25 years of service and one individual for 15 years of service to the bank. The following associates and directors were recognized for 25 years of service:Ellie King, consumer lending; Sarah Raney, lending administration; Jean Schaver, loan operations; and Paul Van Ostenbridge, president & CEO. ASB Directors who were recognized include Harold Dyer, William C. Hanse, Esq., Arie Leegwater, John L. Steen, and Robert J. Turner. In addition, Grace Lobbregt of the Hawthorne branch was recognized for 15 years of service. The bank will be celebrating 25 years in September 2010. There are many events planned around the Silver Anniversary including an Open House at all branches on Saturday, Sept. 18. There will be food, games for children, giveaways, and special offers.
