Grissom earns Rotary Club’s President’s Award
Bergen Highlands-Ramsey Rotary Club Past-President Adrienne Terpak recently presented the President’s Award to Rotarian Thomas Grissom of Mahwah. This award is presented to Rotarians who have demonstrated a dedication to ‘Service above Self,’ Rotary’s motto, in their home clubs. The Bergen Highlands-Ramsey Rotary Club is a member of Rotary International and sponsors activities that benefit both the local community and international public service projects, including a school, clinic and orphanage in Haiti. The club provides extensive support locally for the Center for Food Action and Habitat for Humanity, and scholarships for local students. Members also run the children’s rides at Ramsey Day, USR Day and Mahwah Day, with all proceeds going toward the Club’s charitable activities. he Bergen Highlands-Ramsey Rotary Club holds its weekly meetings on Mondays at 12:15 p.m. at Houlihan’s in Ramsey. New members are always welcome.
