Also joining them will be Desiree Elsevier, viola, member of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. The concert is in memory of Jay Adleman, who planned, organized and executed these concerts in the past. Aspiring writers will network, share their work for critical review, and work together in an informal self-help/support group. The library is located on DeKorte Drive in Franklin Lakes. Learn about Hudson River lighthouses Author and photographer Kevin Woyce will present “Hudson River Lighthouses” on April 27. The program will begin at 7 p.m. at the Franklin Lakes Public Library, 245 DeKorte Drive. Woyce’s program will include a slide show introducing facts about the lighthouses, bridges, and landmarks on the historic Hudson River. All are welcome. Belsky named to Dean’s List Scott Belsky of Franklin Lakes was named to the Dean’s List at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois for the winter 2010 term. He is a student in the School of Education and Social Policy. RBARI hosts Golf Outing The Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. will hold the Eric M. Simonyan Memorial Golf Outing on May 10 at the High Mountain Golf Club, 845 Ewing Avenue, Franklin Lakes. Proceeds from this event will benefit the animals at this no-kill shelter. The entry fee is $695 for a foursome or $180 for a single golfer. This fee includes breakfast, cart, practice balls, round of golf at a top quality course, and lunch afterwards.
