The money will be deposited into the account of this 501(c)(3) charity. The Concerned Citizens of Allendale saved the Fell House from the wrecker’s ball and is now turning the home and 2.8-acre property into a community resource. The effort takes sweat, dedication, and the community’s help. “We are thrilled that TD Bank is helping us with this innovative program,” said Holly Norton, co-chair of the Fundraising Committee. “We could use large donations, too, but this has been a grassroots effort from day one -and every penny counts.” The Fell House belonged to Revolutionary War hero John Fell, who led the American resistance efforts against Donate spare change to benefit the Fell House the British in Bergen County. The popular festival features music, entertainment and food throughout the day, a petting zoo, games, contests and children’s rides. A pet parade and give-aways are also scheduled.
