Team advances
Doug Freidman, a Northern Highlands lacrosse alumni and now a player of the Mount Saint Mary University lacrosse team, will be traveling to top-ranked Virginia for the first round of the NCAA Division 1 Championship. The Mount St. Mary Mountaineers advanced to the second NCAA Division 1 Tournament after defeating Siena 7-6 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship game. Players take road trip
The Highlands Lacrosse Association’s third grade boys team recently went to watch the Army Lacrosse team play Holy Cross at the US Military Academy’s Michie Stadium in West Point, NY. Pictured along with the boys are Assistant Coaches Vinny Rotondo, Todd Alderton, and Tom Kyme, and Head Coach Mike Breen. The boys from the team are from Upper Saddle River, Saddle River, Ho-Ho-Kus, Ramsey,, and Allendale.
