William V. Beshlian, M.D. of Glen Rock died April 24. He was 87. He was a U.S. Army Medical Corps veteran. He had a 52-year career at Saint Joseph’s Hospital Medical Center in Paterson. He was the recipient of 1980 Saint Joseph’s Distinguished Service Award, the 1991 Alumni Award, and the 100 years of combined service award for father and son: H. K. Breshlian and W. V. Beshlian. He is survived by his wife Doris Beshlian (nee Mabey), his children Paul W. Beshlian, and Lisa Beshlian, two grandchildren, and his sister Anne. He was 55. He was a self-employed car salesman. He is survived by his mother Ruth Blunt and stepfather Matthew Blunt of Manahawkin, his siblings Rober DelVecchio of Hewitt, Shari Zatoren of Jersey City, and Delphine Ashe of West Milford, three nephews, and one niece. He was predeceased by his father Orlando DelVecchio and brother Keith DelVecchio. Memorial donations may be made to an animal shelter of choice. Jean “Tomasina” Franco, nee Casola, of Ridgewood, formerly of Oradell, died April 27. She was 89. She was a parishioner of Saint Joseph’s R.C. Church in Oradell. She is survived by her children Elizabeth Hoff, Francine Dragotta, Joann Macchiorola, Deborah Pasquino, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and her brother Alfred. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph Franco and seven of her siblings. Arrangements were made by Volk Leber Funeral Home in Oradell. Before retiring in 1979, she was employed with the Borough of Glen Rock Board of Education where she was a cashier at Glen Rock High School for 23 years. She was a parishioner of Saint Catharine R.C. Church in Glen Rock and a former member of the Fair Lawn Live Wires. She is survived by her child Evelyn J. Groch, and one grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Edward J. Irene Houston, nee Lawson, of Ramsey died April 27. She was 93. She had been a member and served as the chair of the Ramsey Branch of the Valley Hospital Auxiliary. She was a volunteer at Kurth Cottage Café at Valley Hospital, and a past chairman of the Ramsey March of Dimes. She had been a Cub Scout den mother. She was a member of the Ramsey Golf and Country Club and the First Presbyterian Church of Ramsey. She is survived by her children Elizabeth Houston Teja of Geneva Switzerland, Wade L. Houston of Burke, Virginia, and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William M. Houston. Arrangements were made by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey. Michael J. Hudak of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Waldwick, died April 21. He was 66. He had served in the National Guard. Before retiring, he was national sales manager at Howe-Richardson Scale in Clifton. He coached girls’ softball in Waldwick for many years. He had played in the Over-50 Men’s Adult Softball Team of Waldwick. He was a member of the Thursday Golfers’ Lunch Bunch in Tucson, Arizona. He is survived by his son Christopher Hudak of Tucson, Arizona, his sister Barbara Messineo of Sacramento, California, and good friend Marilyn Lilly. Robert F. Kingman of Mahwah, formerly of Cliffside Park, died April 24. He was 80. He was a U.S. Army Reserve veteran. He was an accountant/office manager at Joshua L. Bailey & Co. in Hoboken, for over 25 years and retired as treasurer of the company. He is survived by his wife Mary Sue Coscia, his children Michael Kingman of Fair Lawn, Deborah Ferrucci of Lake Hopatcong, and Thomas Kingman of Whiting, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, and his half sister Pat of Florida. He was predeceased by his sister Jean. Arrangements were made by Van EmburghSneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey. Oscar J. Krieger, MD of Wyckoff died April 24. He was 84. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He had been a physician in Fair Lawn for over 50 years and practiced at Saint Joseph Hospital in Paterson and later at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. He was a member of many professional organizations. He is survived by his wife Donna Krieger (nee Roemer), his daughters Karen Krieger, Dr. Michelle Krieger, and Betsy Eischen, and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Peter, and his siblings Milton, and Vivienne Richmond (nee Krieger). Arrangements were made by Robert Schoem’s Menorah Chapel in Paramus. Cavallini Middle School in Upper Saddle River where he was on the wrestling team. He is survived by his parents Kumud and Swati Majumder (nee Roy). Charles J. Parnow of Wyckoff, formerly of Union City, died April 23. He was 71. Before retiring, he was a senior writer of public information for the New York Stock Exchange. He had been a financial writer for United Press International. He held positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and was the editor of the company magazine. He was a member of the New York Financial Writers Association and the Overseas Press Club. He was an Eagle Scout. He was a member of the National Guard and a parishioner of Our Lady Mount Carmel R.C. Church of Ridgewood. He is survived by his wife Mary, his children Charles J. Jr. of Pearl River, New York and Mary P. Sproul of Oakland, California, and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband John, and her second husband Stephen, and her siblings Ann Janiak, Victoria Ernest, Mary Krenc, Stephanie Johnson, Beatrice Dunai, Lottie Lenart, Jean Offt, and Ruth Lucas. Arrangements were made by Shook Funeral Home in Clifton. Teresa Teegan of Wyckoff, formerly of Brick, died April 24. She was 89. She was a U.S Army veteran of WWII, serving as a nurse. Before retiring she had been the school nurse at Saint Elizabeth School in Wyckoff for over 20 years. She is survived by her children, Kathleen and Frederick Schumm, Thomas and Marci Teegan, William and Diane Teegan, Susan Popewiny, James Teegan, and Colleen and Jaime Abribat, and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William J. Teegan. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff.
