Obsolete or broken electronics and home office equipment, including keyboards, printers, CPU monitors, televisions, phones, fax machines, gaming systems, etc., will be collected and disposed of in an environmentally safe way. Girl Scouts celebrate Arbor Day Allendale Girl Scouts will celebrate Arbor Day on Thursday, May 6 at 4 p.m. at Orchard Commons Park. The public is invited to come out and help plant flowers. Patrons honored at reception The Friends of the Allendale Library will host a reception to honor the library’s patrons for their generous contributions toward the recentlyinstalled circulation desk. The reception has been scheduled for May 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lee Memorial Library, 500 West Crescent Avenue. Local author Adam Keeble, will be present to sign copies of his new book, “Don’t Put Baby in the Corner.” Refreshments will be served. The new circulation desk was designed, constructed, and assembled entirely from community donations, and proceeds from the ongoing and the semi-annual book sales.
