She is survived by her children Sheila Krasnomowitz-McCullough of Ogdensburg, Margaret Koeck of Lindenhurst, Illinois, Rosanne Mead of Ridgewood, and Vincent McKeon of Ridgewood, 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was 44. She was a pediatric medical assistant with Maple Avenue Pediatrics in Fair Lawn. She is survived by her daughter Caroline Dix of Hawthorne, her father Al and stepmother Joyce Pabon of Wayne, her sister Phyllis Falsetta of Hancock, New York, and her companion Rick Vitagliano. Rose Parisi, nee Iurato, of Park Ridge, formerly of Saddle River, died March 23. She was 89. She was a member of the Ridgewood Country Club, the Valley Hospital Auxiliary, and the Hackensack Woman’s Club. She was the chairwoman of the Golden Ball for the Bergen County United Way. She was a member of the board of the American Red Cross, and the board of West Bergen Mental Health Center, from which she received the Distinguished Service Award in 1994. She was a parishioner of Saint Gabriel RC Church in Saddle River. She is survived by her children Carmine Jr. of Midland Park, Joyce Parisi of Woodcliff Lake, two grandchildren, and her brother William Iurato. Joanne Shockley, nee Huffman, of Leesburg, Florida, formerly of Waldwick, died Dec. 3. She was 74. She is survived by her husband Richard Shockley, her children Cynthia Borsi of Merritt Island, Florida, Paulette Martinez of Brownsville, Texas, William Shockley of Chesapeake Beach, Maryland, and Brian Shockley of Brooklyn, New York, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and her siblings Kathleen Boughman of Huntingtown, Maryland, Dianne Martin of New York, New York, and Joan Andreoli of Mahwah. A memorial service will be held April 8 at noon at White’s Pond at the end of Pennington Avenue in Waldwick. William Edward Tanis Sr. of Upper Saddle River died March 22. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He had been a business representative for the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. He was a member of the AFL-CIO and retired secretary treasurer of the New Jersey State Council of Machinists. He was a member of the Pompton Plains Reformed Bible Church. She was a professor at Edward Williams College in the early 1980s. She had worked as an administrative assistant at Fordham University in the early 1960s. She was a civil service employee in 1949-1952 in G-2 and CID assigned to the US Army in Okinawa, Japan. She later worked as an administrative assistant for the US Army G-3 during 1952-1953 at Fort Polk, Louisiana. She was the past president of the North Jersey Doll Club. She is survived by her husband Trenton E. Wright Sr., her children Trenton Wright Jr. of Connecticut, and Christine of Ramsey, two grandchildren and her sisters Catherine Giordano and Marilyn Cenatiempo.
