Project Graduation seeks community support Project Graduation 2010 organizers are seeking the community’s support to help make this year’s drug-free and alcohol-free graduation celebration at Northern Highlands Regional High School a success. This celebration, which will immediately follow the commencement ceremonies, is for graduating seniors from Allendale, Ho-Ho-Kus, Upper Saddle River, and Saddle River. While the families of the graduating seniors will pay a fee to help cover a large part of the cost, event organizers welcome additional financial assistance. School board to meet The Allendale Board of Education will meet on Wednesday, March 31 at 8 p.m. This session will include the public hearing for the tentative 2010-11 school budget. Cash for Gold event set The Allendale Woman’s Club has planned two Cash for Gold fundraisers. The first event, which is open to the general public, will be held during the March 31 Fashion Show pre-registration at Allendale Borough Hall from 1 to 5 p.m. A representative from American Gold & Diamond Buyers will be on hand to give a free appraisal and immediate cash for gold, silver, diamonds, wristwatches, estate jewelry, and more. Admission is free. All participants must be at least 18 years of age and must present a valid driver’s license for identification.
