Page 18 THE VILLADOM TIMES III • June 16, 2010 ���������������� ��������� ���������������������������� Giordano graduates from US Military Academy Cadet Thomas Anthony Giordano Jr., son of Tom and Marion Giordano of Waldwick, has graduated from West Point, the U.S. Military Academy. While at West Point, Giordano focused his studies on military history. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the armor branch and will report in July to Fort Knox for officer training. After his training, Lt. Giordano will report to Fort Stewart in Georgia for his first assignment and will await his induction into the United States World Class Athlete Program for team handball. WCAP provides outstanding soldier-athletes the support and training to compete and succeed in national and international competitions leading to the Olympics, while maintaining a professional military career. Giordano is 2006 graduate of Waldwick High School. West Point is a four-year co-educational federal undergraduate liberal arts college located 50 miles north of New York City.
