Northern Highlands to perform ‘Urinetown’ Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale will present “Urinetown: The Musical” Feb. 25 through 28. Evening performances on Thursday through Saturday will be at 7 p.m. Matinees will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $15 for reserved seating, and $10 for general admission. Teen and family support program offered The Creative Living Counseling Center in Allendale is offering two eight-session courses for teens and their parents. “Teen Turn Around” is designed to help students in grades nine through 12 work up to their academic and personal potential. “Effective Teen Parenting” empowers parents of teens to explore a new approach to parenting and to the parent-teen relationship. Both courses are offered on Tuesday, March 2 from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. at the Creative Living Counseling Center, 37 East Allendale Avenue, Allendale. The fee for each is $250 for eight 90minute sessions plus materials. If you enroll yourself and your teen in both courses, a 10 percent discount will be offered to those who enroll with their teen in both courses for a total cost of $450. The evening will feature a cocktail reception with an open bar and gourmet dinner, an auction, gift basket prizes, and a fashion show sponsored by Fig Leaf Boutique in Garfield. The Allendale Woman’s Club has designated the Center for Women’s Heart Health as the primary beneficiary of its Fashion Show and will donate half of all proceeds to the organization. Among its many outreach programs, the center offers free comprehensive risk assessments to women in the community.
