Sanzari Children’s Hospital on Sunday, Aug. 22. A party will follow. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. in Lot 26 of the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, with riders departing for Rockland Lake Park at 10 a.m. Participants will end their ride and party under the bridge at Ross’ Dock in Fort Lee. Charity Run tickets are $25 per person and include the run, food, beverages, and entertainment. Event organizers will give away a 2010 Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide and helmet, donated by Joseph M. Sanzari, chairman of the HUMC Board of Governors. Tick- ets will be available the day of the event, and the winner announced at Ross’ Dock at 3 p.m. Winners need not be present. Green Carpet Affair benefit set Twenty five PGA Tour players will be on hand at a private home in Saddle River for “A Green Carpet Affair” presented by Sentient Jet, on Tuesday, Aug. 24 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The evening’s activities will include the chance to putt with PGA Tour professionals and special contests featuring one-of-a-kind adventures. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be served. Prizes include a vacation package featuring rounds of golf with PGA Tour player Dustin Johnson and another with Kenny Perry, two tickets to Fashion Week with designer Tory Burch, an unforgettable wine experience in Tuscany, a wine tasting to be held in the contest winner’s home, a private jet charter excursion with Sentient Jet, and the opportunity to be named as a character in acclaimed author Harlan Coben’s next book.
