Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff recently held an Open House to celebrate renovations to The David F. Bolger Post-acute Care Unit at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. Approximately 150 guests attended the event. CHCC extended its sincere appreciation to the many supporters of The David F. Bolger PACU renovations, especially The Bolger Foundation, Fred J. Brotherton Foundation, Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth P. Whiteman, Mr. and Mrs. Gary B. Lenderink, Stephen and Mary Birch Foundation Inc., and
Marcon Foundation Inc. The PACU was developed in response to the ever-changing needs of the community. A professional rehabilitation staff works with individuals requiring concentrated physical, occupational, and speech therapy following surgery or as a result of acute or other serious medical condition. The PACU aims to improve function so that individuals can return home. This year’s CHCC Annual Fund will also help fund the expansion of the rehabilitation gymnasium.
