Professional organizer to speak Professional organizer Jamie Novak will present “Getting It All Done: Simplify, Organize, Prioritize” on Tuesday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Waldwick Public Library. In her one-hour workshop, Novak will offer practical advice and an action plan for taking control. From paperwork, to prioritizing, to professional quick cleaning tricks, Novak will share insider secrets to getting it all done. Novak is an expert organizer for HGTV’s “Mission Organization” and author of the new book, “Stop Throwing Money Away: Turn Clutter into Cash, Trash into Treasure -- and Save the Planet While You’re at It.” Autographed copies of the book will be offered for sale following the program. Since 1990, Novak has traveled between her New Jersey and Los Angeles offices, inspiring audiences to focus on progress rather than perfection when it comes to simplifying their lives. The program is free and open to the public; however, space is limited and advance registration is required. The
library is located at 19 East Prospect Street in Waldwick. Call (201) 652-5104. Correction The April 14 edition of Villadom TIMES included a story about the Waldwick Mayor and Council’s decision to cut their salaries for 2010. That article refers to Councilman Andrew Brennecke, whose name was misspelled in that article. Villadom TIMES regrets the errror and any inconvenience it may have caused.
