Free trees available to homeowners The Glen Rock Shade Tree Advisory Committee has announced that borough residents may now request free trees. Trees will be planted in the right-of-way along the streets in front of their homes. While trees are being planted in November, the committee will be evaluating residents’ request forms as they are submitted and determining priority for planting. The top priority will be for trees on sides of streets without electrical wires. Second priority will go to locations on the side of the street where electrical lines are located, but where trees can be planted farther away from the street and not directly under the lines. Tree request forms are available at Glen Rock Borough Hall. Residents may send their e-mail address to GlenRockTreeTrust@gmail.com and an electronic version of the form will be sent. Engaged?
