Dorothy Mae Bauberger, nee Allman, of Glen Rock died March 14. She was 89. She had been a teacher. She is survived by her children Glenn, Jeanne, Gail, Roy, Alice, Paul and Mark, 13 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Charles F. Bauberger. Arrangements were made by Oakland Memorial Home in Oakland. Margaret Hurt Bridge, nee Roetman, of Ridgewood, formerly of Hawthorne, died March 18. She was 87. She is survived by her children LaRayne Tuminello of Oakland, and Betty Ann Bacinskas of Auburn, Massachusetts, four grandchildren, and her sister Elizabeth Roetman of Hawthorne. She was predeceased by her husbands, Billee Hurt and Jack Bridge. Arrangements were made by Browning and Forshay Funeral Home in Hawthorne. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Robbinsville, NJ 08691. Connor Donohue of New York City, formerly of Ridgewood, died March 14. He was 24. He was program officer for strategy at SingleStop USA. He had been Dean of Students at Prep for Prep. He was selected in 2009 by the NYU Wagner School for Public Services for a Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Services. He was vice chairman for external affairs for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network in New York City. He was a graduate of Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut. He had been a camper and staff member for 13 summers at Frost Valley YMCA camp. He is survived by his parents Jane Lyons Donohue and Patrick, his sister Caroline, his grandfather James Lyons, 19 aunts and uncles, and 35 first cousins. Arrangements were made by Hugh M. Moriarty

She had been a member of the Caldwell Dominicans. She taught music and theology at Caldwell College and many Catholic schools until her retirement in 1992. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Nativity in Midland Park, where she was a choir director, Eucharistic minister, and lector. She is survived by her husband Dennis, her son Frank, and three grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Memorial donations may be made to the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Caldwell, 1 Ryerson Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006. Anna D. Freund of Glen Rock died March 13. She was 92. Before retiring in 1988, she was a professor of speech pathology and communications at William Paterson College. She had also been a vocal coach and speech therapist. She had been a speech therapist in the East Orange public school system. She performed as a concert artist at Carl Fisher Concert Hall, Steinway Concert Hall, and New York Times Hall in New York City. She was a member of the Valley Opera Company in Ridgewood. She served as a soloist in church choirs including the Church of the Transfiguration, (Little Church Around the Corner), churches in Ridgewood and South Orange, Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church in Paterson, and the Trinity Choir of Saint Paul’s Chapel in lower Manhattan. She was a member of the Eastern Star for 74 years, serving as their grand matron. She was a board member of the Bergen County Pro Art Chorale. She was a member of Zonta International, serving as president of the Paterson Chapter; a member of the retired professor’s organization at William Paterson; chair of the Alumni Association’s executive council for the Hobart Manor Restoration Committee. In 1997, she received the College’s Distinguished Alumni Award. She is survived by her children Paul of Midland Park, Anna Martin of Williamsburg, Virginia, one grandchild, three great grandchildren, and her sisters Willie Sherger and Dorothy Daube of Wayne. John Lowe of Gainesville, Florida, formerly of Ridgewood, died March 15. He was 83. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Before retiring in 1982, he was employed by Bell Telephone, AT&T, New York Telephone, and Western Electric. He was a member of Holy Faith Catholic Church in Gainesville, Florida. He was 77. He was the owner and operator of Raleigh Distributors, Brooklyn, New York for 25 years. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church in Ridgewood. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 5257. He is survived by his children John of Bedford, New Hampshire, Regina of Ridgewood, Joan of Ridgewood, and Edward of Nashua, New Hampshire, six grandchildren, and his sisters, Annarose Lilla Rendine of Vernon, Natalie Mazzacca of Hawthorne and Mary May of Washington Township. She is survived by her grandchildren Karen DeAngelis, Marie Burke, Kristine Bonagura, William Brennan, Robert Brennan, Karl Drehwing, Peter Brennan, 15 great grandchildren, and her brother William Shattuck. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander C. Mosher, her daughters Marie Glass and Margaret Brennan, her grandson Stephen Brennan, and her siblings Catherine Annable, Elizabeth Morache, and Arthur and Edward Shattuck. He was vice president of Multimedia & Telecommunications Services at Goldman Sachs in Jersey City where he worked for over 20 years. He was a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. He is survived by his wife Christine, his daughters Danielle and Cara, and his siblings Annette Curcio of Brooklyn, and Louis of Boston and Costa Rica.
