Ridgewood resident Kathleen Entwistle was recently appointed to the board of directors at Gilda’s Club Northern New Jersey (Gilda’s Club NNJ). “I am excited to join the board of Gilda’s Club Northern New Jersey, and look forward to helping the organization expand its support services to the many families in our community who are affected by cancer,” said Entwistle. Gilda’s Club NNJ, a Hackensack-based nonprofit, offers social and emotional support services, free of charge, to people of all ages who are touched by cancer. Named for the late comedian Gilda Radner, the clubhouse offers lectures, workshops, social events and support groups. “We are thrilled to have Kathleen Entwistle join our board,” said Ruth Dugan, board president of Gilda’s Club NNJ. “Her financial expertise and leadership qualities will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success of Gilda’s Club in the new year.” Now employed by UBS, Entwistle previously held positions at Morgan Stanley, CJM Planning Corporation, and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company. Entwistle received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Providence College, followed by an MBA from Fordham University. She is director of the board at Saint Joseph’s School for the Blind, a founding member of the Ridgewood Public Library Foundation, and was a charter member of Tiffany’s Circle, an organization for women in support of the efforts of the American Red Cross of Northern New Jersey.
