Kochaniec honored for service, sworn in as chief
The Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps recently held its annual Installation Dinner at The Graycliff in Moonachie. During the celebration, Christine Kochaniec was honored for 15 years of service to the corps. Kochaniec joined the Ambulance Corps in 1993, and has chaired several committees. She was a lieutenant in the corps in 2009, and was sworn in as chief for 2010. Service awards were also presented to Mary Surrago, Michele Ivory, Sal Danna, Phil Corbett, and Michael Eckert for five years of service to Glen Rock. The new executive board for 2010 is Paul Herrlett, president; Michele Ivory, first vice president; Rusty Dagenais, second vice president; Sue Hoffman, recording secretary; Diane Herrlett, corresponding secretary; Michael Eckert, treasurer; and Christine Kochaniec, chief.
