On Feb 10, the Bergen County Police will outline the many services they perform Rotary Club hosts speakers for the community. Sunset Rotary meets every Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. at the Bonefish Grill in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, adjacent to Paramus Park Mall. Rotary is the world’s oldest philanthropic organization with 1.2 million members in 32,000 clubs throughout the world. Rotary, with the help of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, is dedicated to the elimination of polio. Now it has spread to his chest and into his blood. As a result, he is receiving a bone marrow transplant and is due to be released from the hospital in the coming weeks. His father is disabled and cannot work, and his mom was laid off from her job and is looking for work. Mom is desperate to have her leaky roof fixed so Ralph can come home to a clean, dry environment. Given the family’s extreme misfortune, they simply do not have the resources to have the roof replaced or repaired. We are seeking a roofing company that would like to donate this job to a needy family in this community. Please let us know if you can help! We are in need of the following items: long-grain rice; tomato sauce; dried or canned red, black, or kidney beans; corn meal; cooking oil; bottled olives; bread crumbs; mango juice; and canned beets. Our families also need Goya brand food products. We also need toilet tissue and paper towels. Remember: Your company, house of worship, or group of friends can hold a mini-fundraiser and help us to keep all of our programs in place. Consider having a Super Bowl Party with a purpose by collecting a contribution from each person who attends.
