Ridgewood December 1, 2010 THE VILLADOM TIMES II • Page 5 Interim principal, resource room teacher hired by John Koster The Ridgewood Board of Education has hired Cary Bell as a leave of absence replacement principal at the Somerville School, effective Oct. 23 to Feb. 9, 2011 The Ridgewood Police Department is investigating a break and entry and burglary and an apparently unrelated attempt in a different location on another day. On Nov. 16, an East Glen Avenue resident reported that he had returned home at 3 p.m. and had discovered that his front door had been broken open and the master bedroom had been ransacked. Jewelry and Police investigate burglary, attempted break and entry cash were taken. The Bergen County Sheriff’s Department is joining the Ridgewood Police Department in that investigation. On Nov. 18, a Claremont Road resident reported that someone had damaged the garage in an attempt to break in. The matter is under investigation by the Ridgewood Police Detective Bureau. J. KOSTER at a per diem rate of $500 per day. The school board has also retained Jillian Diamond as a leave of absence resource room teacher at the Ridge School from Nov. 8 to March 22, 2011, as needed, at a pro-rated salary of $57,530. The district has also hired four special education aides and a lunchroom aide, all at $15.85 per hour. Robert Mwangi will work five days a week for six and a half hours at the Glen School in special education, Donna Petrick will work three days a week at five hours a day at the Hawes School in spe- cial education, Justin Porter will work five days a week at seven hours per day at the Benjamin Franklin Middle School, Casey Schick will work as a one-on-one classroom aide at the Somerville School five days a week for six and a half hours a day, and Michelle Schreckenstein will work as a lunchroom aide at the Ridge School for an hour a day.
