Joe Griswold is president of Real Partners Uganda President and his wife Elaine is the organization’s vice president and executive director. The Griswolds and several partners around the world have united to improve the education and health of Ugan- Griswolds earn ‘Daily Point of Light’ recognition dans especially in the Lukaya community. The largest of their projects is the Mustard Seed Academy where over 300 students, ages 3 to 13, go to school. The school serves a population of children from an extremely economically underdeveloped community. Mustard Seed Academy benefits from small class sizes and well-educated teachers. Students learn good nutrition and benefit from modern health care. The school is also a model for sustainable development. The Griswolds have united a with partners to form two non-profit organizations; one in Uganda (Tree of Life Ministries) and one in the United States (Real Partners Uganda) to support their work in developing the economic viability and education of Lukaya’s citizens. Before their move to Brigantine, the Griswolds actively promoted Real Partners Uganda at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Midland Park and at the Church of the Epiphany in Allendale. Those churches have since joined and are currently known as Trinity Episcopal Church.
