Julianna’s symptoms, which included a poor appetite, prompted a visit to the doctor. Several trips to the pediatrician left them baffled, until some tests came back and they learned that Julianna had leukemia. Marjorie told us that was the worst day of her life and that she just cried and cried. Marjorie is a single mom who had been getting by with the help of her parents and friends.
