April 21, 2010 THE VILLADOM TIMES II • Page 9 Ridgewood Music makers Two Ridgewood High School Percussion Ensembles were chosen to participate in the 27th Annual Young Musicians Concert on Thursday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at Merkin Concert Hall in New York City. The ensemble featuring Yoon-Ji Nam, Jeffrey Horn, Audrey Highfill, and Andrew Wade will perform ‘Hook’ by Graham Fitkin and the group featuring Ricki Saito, Derek Frey, and Chris Dubois will perform ‘Trio Per Uno’ by Nebojsa Zivcovic. This is the twelfth year since 1998 that an RHS percussion group was chosen to perform in an event sponsored by the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Twelve ensembles from the tristate area will perform in this concert. Each group will also receive coaching from musicians selected by the CMSLC. Gary Fink is the director of the RHS Percussion Ensemble.
