School budget, one contested seat at stake
by John Koster On April 20, Glen Rock’s registered voters will elect their school board representatives in a contested race, and will decide on the proposed 2010-11 budget of $44,197,719, which includes a local tax levy of $39,248,529 with a debt service item of $2,157,981. The tax impact associated with the budget would be approximately $390 for the owner of a home assessed at the borough’s average of $539,850.
