Most recently his “Old Stone Bridge” entry won a first place award for oil painting at the Juried Show held at the Arts Center of Northern NJ, and he received another First Place Award for Oil Painting at the Tinicum Arts Festival Association’s Juried Show. An accomplished artist of diverse talents, Holst has painted since high school. He continued to minor in art at college and later perfected his technique under John P.
