The bride-to-be is a graduate of Waldwick High School and attended Saint Thomas Aquinas College. Her fiancé is a graduate of Elmwood Park High School and has studied culinary arts. They are both employed as managers by Panera Bread. The couple currently resides in Elmwood Park. An Oct. 15, 2011 wedding at Saint Luke’s Church in Ho-Ho-Kus planned. Marilyn and Yukio Nakagawa of Ramsey have announced the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Nakagawa, to Ryan Bass, son of James and Sharon Bass of Columbia, South Carolina. The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Ramsey High School. She is a 2006 graduate of the University of South Carolina, where she received a degree in public health with a concentration on exercise science. She is a personal trainer for Gold’s Gym in Columbia, South Carolina. Her fiancé is a 1999 graduate of Irmo High School and a 2004 graduate of College of Charleston, where he received bachelor’s degrees in psychology and business administration, with a concentration in economics. He is a branch manager at the commercial lending firm, Premium Financing Specialists. An Oct. 10 wedding is planned at the Seasons in Washington Township.
