As a fellowship-trained, pediatric neurosurgeon, Dr. Cathy Mazzola treats children with traumatic brain injury, concussions, hydrocephalus, brain tumors, spine tumors, tethered spinal cord, craniofacial diagnoses, and plagiocephaly. She also cares for adult neurosurgical patients with congenital disorders, like cerebral palsy and spina bifida. Dr. Mazzola has written many articles about brain tumors, spina bifida, and brain injury that have been published in peer-reviewed journals.
