He was an owner and partner of Amtec Enterprises, a raw material manufacturing firm in Newark. He was a member of Activities Unlimited of Wyckoff. He is survived by his wife Eleanor (nee Hughes), and his daughter Christine Hicks of Franklin Lakes, three grandsons, and his sisters Frances Toscano and Kay Petrella. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff. Edrena F. Duffy of North Haledon, formerly of Wyckoff and Manhasset, New York, died Oct. 30. She was 102. She was a member of Congregational Church, Manhasset, New York, where she was involved in many church groups and various committees over the years and a former member of A.A.U.W. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Ann E. and Fred Dau of Wyckoff, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Ray F. Harvey, and her second husband John J. Duffy. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff. Margery Perlet Johnson of Ridgewood died Oct. 21. She was 80. She graduated from Northwestern University in 1952, and worked briefly as an elementary school teacher before raising her family. She and her husband were partners in the Welcome Aboard Travel Agency of Ridgewood and Ramsey. She was a volunteer with the Junior League starting in the 1960s, working with emotionally disabled children and starring in several Children’s Theater productions that toured elementary schools across Northern Peter J. She is survived by her children David Johnson of Jupiter, Florida, Katherine Johnson of Greeley, Colorado, Cynthia Eichling of Wayne, Pennsylvania, Elizabeth McNamara of Park Ridge, and Jennifer Johnson of Westport, Connecticut; her brother William Perlet of Tucson, Arizona; and 11 grandchildren. Eleanore Banisch LeBorgne, nee Berger, of Wyckoff, formerly of Bergenfield and Maywood, died Oct. 30. She was 85. She is survived by her children Barbara Faustini Lynch, Elinor Banisch, Linda Riegler, Albert Banisch, Stephen Banisch, 13 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands Albert Banisch, and Yves LeBorgnen, her daughter Stefanie Long, and her brother Arthur Berger. Arrangements were made by Trinka-Faustini Funeral Service in Maywood. Peter Anthony LiPuma of Wyckoff, formerly of Ridgewood and Bluffton, South Carolina, died Oct. 30. He was 73. Before retiring, he was a vice president at Equitable Life Insurance of New York City for 42 years. He was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church in Ridgewood where he served on the Finance Committee and as a Eucharistic minister. Most recently, he was a parishioner of Saint Elizabeth’s R.C. Church in Wyckoff. He is survived by his wife Marie (nee Freddo) LiPuma of Wyckoff, his children John of Midland Park, James of Midland Park, Linda Kennelly of Oak Ridge, and Karen Sul- livan of Waldwick, and nine grandchildren. Loughlin of Leisuretown, Southampton, New York, formerly of Waldwick, died Oct. 30. He was 78. He was a dentist for 50 years. He started a soccer league 43 years ago in his backyard which is now the Northwest Bergen Soccer League. He is survived by wife Mariann Loughlin, his children Christopher of Machias, Maine, Michael of Freeport, Maine, Martin of Tilton of New Hampshire, Selene Loughlin of New Haven, Connecticut, Zoe Kane of Shamong, and Hugh Benedict of Well, Maine, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Lankenu Funeral Home in Vincentown, Southampton, New York. Virginia Patella, nee Galiani, of Glen Rock, formerly of Paterson, died Nov. 2. She was 99. She was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Paterson. She is survived by her daughter Marie Patella of Glen Rock. She was predeceased by her husband Fulvio Patella, and her son Francis “Frank” Patella. Arrangements were made by Browning Forshay Funeral Home in Hawthorne. Reilly of Upper Saddle River, formerly of East Williston, Long Island, New York, and Hackensack, died Oct. 30. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. After working as a jet pilot for Olin Mathieson Co., he sold corporate jets for Rockwell International. He later started his own corporate jet sales company, Wings Associates, at Westchester County Airport in White Plains, New York. He is survived by his wife Lydia DePaoli Reilly, his children John, Gina Butler, and David, five grandchildren, his brother Kevin Reilly of East Setauket, Long Island, New York. He was predeceased by his parents Genevieve (Healy) and Elmer Reilly, and his brother, William J. Reilly. Schmutzer, formerly of Ridgewood and Wyckoff, died Oct. 31. He was a past member of the Wyckoff Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
