Rhyme Time, for children ages 12 to 30 months and a caregiver, will be held on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. on March 8, 15, and 22. Toddler Tales, for children ages 30 months to three years and a caregiver, will be held on Fridays at 10:30 a.m. on March 5, 12, 19, and 26. Storytime Fun for Fours & Fives will be held on Thursdays at either 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. on March 4, 11, 18, and 25. Fish & Chips Dinner set Care-A-Lot Christian Nursery School at 475 Lafayette Avenue will host a Fish & Chips Dinner on Friday, March 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. Argyles will provide the food. The cost is $13 for adults and $6.50 for children, when tickets are ordered in advance. The price at the door will be $14 for adults and $7 for children. Chicken dinners will also be available. The township is currently in the process of reviewing license records. To avoid the risk of being issued a summons, all licenses must be renewed before April 1. Each animal’s rabies certificate must be valid through October 2010. A $10 late fee is being charged in addition to the annual license fee. Club sets Spring Garden Show The Wyckoff Area Garden Club has set a date for its upcoming house and garden show to benefit the Zabriskie House in Wyckoff. “Beyond the Garden Gate” will feature local gardens and several homes reflecting designs from the colonial era through the modern period. The show will take place on Wednesday, June 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Advance sale tickets will be $35; tickets sold at the door on the day of the event will be $40. Hermann, Ragone recognized Bloomfield College recently honored Carrie Hermann, a creative arts and technology/animation major; and Diana Ragone, a sociology/criminal justice major, for having qualified for the Dean’s List for the fall 2009 semester. Both Wyckoff residents qualified for high honors, earning a GPA of 3.8 or above. Fall soccer registration set Registration for the Wyckoff Recreation Department’s fall soccer program will be held on Saturday, March 6 from 9 to 11 a.m. and Monday, March 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Eisenhower Middle School cafeteria. From Monday through Friday, March 8 through 12, registration may be completed in the recreation department office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Northwest Bergen Soccer League is for players born between Aug. 1, 1994 and July 31, 2002. Girls’ games are played on Saturday mornings, and boys’ games are held on Sunday afternoons. A wallet size photo is required at registration. The fee is $70 per child. High school soccer players are also eligible to participate in the Northwest Bergen Soccer League. Since the league limits the township to two teams, only the first 44 registrations will be accepted. All others will be placed on a waiting list. The high school league is a co-ed group that practices once a week, typically on Fridays, and plays games on Sunday afternoons. The fee is $75 per participant. The instructional program is for players who will be entering grades one and two in September. First grade boys will meet from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturdays, and first grade girls will meet from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Second grade boys and girls will play structured games on Saturday mornings at various times and fields in town. The registration fee for these programs is $50. The kindergarten soccer program is an instructional program for players entering kindergarten in September. The kindergarteners meet on Saturday mornings from 9 to 10 a.m. or 10 to 11 a.m. at Pulis Field on Wyckoff Avenue behind the YMCA. The registration fee for this program is $50.
