Page 8 THE VILLADOM TIMES I • June 9, 2010 Wyckoff The Wyckoff Township Committee recently recognized Rachael Goodgal, a long-time Girl Scout and top scholar, who led a group that knitted about 150 afghans and baby caps for neonates at Valley Hospital. Goodgal’s project helped her achieve the Gold Award, the highest award that can be earned by a Girl Scout. Mon & Thurs 9-7 • Tues, Wed, Fri & Sat 9-6 ������������������������������������� ������������������������������������������� was the valedictorian of the Class of 2009 at Ramapo High School, and was a National AP Scholar, a National Merit Scholar, and a leader of programs in which she encouraged fellow Girl Scouts, residents of the Christian Health Care Center, and residents in general to knit and to donate their knitted goods to Valley Hospital’s neonate program. A freshman at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont, Goodgal assists in the leadership of a Daisy Girl Scout Troop in her college town. She said that she learned to knit in the Girl Scouts in the seventh grade. At present, her major is undeclared, but her possible majors or minors include theatre, mathematics, and French. J.
