He had been employed as a truck driver for L-V Trucking in Saddle Brook. He was a member of Saint Anthony’s R.C Church in Hawthorne, and a founding member of the Midland Park Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife Jennie “Jean” Belluardo (nee Corrado) of Hawthorne, his son Peter M. Belluardo of Hawthorne, and two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Nancy Jean Belluardo, and his siblings Nancy Duke, Marie Verbeke, and Michael J. Belluardo. Arrangements were made by Browning-Forshay Funeral Home in Hawthorne. She was an artist. She is survived by her husband John Craighead, her children Adrianne Kropilak and Amber Cirillo, five grandchildren, her parents Harry and Betty Weiss, and her brother Kurt Weiss. Alvina Frey, nee Pelz, of Ramsey died Jan. 9. She was 78. She was a member of the Mahwah Woman’s Club, the Red Hatters, and the N.J. Farm Bureau. She was the oldest surviving member of the Paterson Farmers Market, retiring in 1998. She is survived by her siblings Elsie Pelz Wickenheisser and Frank Pelz, four nieces and nephews, and four great nieces and nephews. Holmes of Wyckoff, formerly of Packanack Lake, died Jan. 9. He was 62. He had been a fork lift operator for the American Bible Society for 36 years before working at Home Supply and Lumber in Hawthorne. He is survived by wife Karen, his children Michael of Mahwah, and Laura Smith of Hawthorne, and his brother William of Montoursville, Pennsylvania. He was 82. He had been an order clerk for Paulist Press in Mahwah for the last 10 years. Prior to that, he was a letter carrier for the Ramsey Post Office for 40 years. He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Wyckoff. He is survived by his wife Carol Meyers (nee Comstock), his children Michael D. Meyers of Montague, Richard Holborow of New York, New York, Linda Darlington of Brandon, Florida, and Ginny Henderson of Hawthorne, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and his sister, Helen Zlotucha of Greentown, Pennsylvania. Steinke, nee Pleuger, of Mahwah, formerly of Franklin Lakes and North Beach, Long Beach Island, died Jan. 10. She was 89.
