He worked at salons in Fort Lee and Hackensack before joining the staff at Nelund Minton eight years ago. Product lines now include L’Oreal, Phyto, and Kevin Murphy; as well as Goldwell, Tocco and Schwarzkopf color. Iain has made the salon as “green” as possible by using products that are environmentally friendly and non-toxic lines that are healthier for clients. The new owner is currently in the process of updating the décor, but he will retain the salon’s cozy feel, which is highlighted by bouquets of fresh flowers and amenities that include coffee and tea, bagels, and other snacks for clients awaiting their appointments. While they wait, clients are also invited to browse through Nelund Minton’s line of custom jewelry – and leave looking beautiful and well accessorized.
