On Sunday, Sept. 27, the Waldwick Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Sixth Annual Waldwick Day from 12 to 4 p.m. at Borough Park. 9-23-09 Ester/Janine family entertainment, a host Waldwick Day features ofWaldwickDayBanner vendors who will be offering activities, and multiple a 6 x .75 of items for sale. Waldwick businesses, civic variety groups, and volunteer organizations will have booths set up to introduce themselves to the community and give out items. Food will be available from the following local eateries: Italian Riviera, Old Towne Deli, Angeliki’s Gyro and Grille, La Vie En Rose Bakery Cafe, Reinhold’s Bakery, Take Away Gourmet and Energy Zone Café. This is a great opportunity to sample all the local specialties Waldwick has to offer and to meet local service providers. Attractions and entertainment will include: face painters, chair massages, carnival games, raffle prizes, martial arts demonstrations, clowns and magic tricks. A DJ will provide music throughout the afternoon. Pie eating contests are scheduled for 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. The Duck Derby, sponsored by the Waldwick Lions Club, will begin at 3:30 p.m. As a special thank you to the business community, the chamber is offering a discounted membership fee of $90 (instead of $100) to any business that signs up on Waldwick Day to be part of the Waldwick Chamber of Left: A performer entertains a child at last year’s Waldwick Day.
