Jones, will run unopposed in their bid for reelection to the Ramsey Borough Council on Nov. 3. Jones is a member of the planning board and previously served on the council in East Rutherford. He is a coach for soccer and softball. Originally from Norwood, Dillon lived in New Mexico before she returned to New Jersey 1986. She has been a Ramsey resident since 2004. First elected to the governing body in 2006, Dillon is currently serving as council president. She is also serving her second term as chair of the Public Health, Education and Social Service Committee. Last year, she chaired the Utilities, Buildings and Grounds Committee. Dillon’s responsibilities include service as a council liaison to the Ramsey Board of Education. The councilwoman earned a BS degree in accountancy from New Mexico State University, and a law degree from New York Law School. She is counsel and chief compliance officer at Seix Investment Advisors in Upper Saddle River. In the community, she has coached soccer and cheer- Dillon and Jones seek voters’ endorsement leading, and served as a CCD teacher. She is also a member of the Junior Woman’s Club. Dillon and her husband have three children, all of whom attend Ramsey’s public schools. Animals receive blessings Saint John’s Episcopal Church, located on the corner of Franklin Turnpike and Main Street in Ramsey, recently hosted its annual Blessing of the Animals. The Reverend Julian Eibin blessed a menagerie of pets including this dog held by parishioner Richard Wells.
