The first day will include lunch, a visit to Foxwoods Casino, and overnight at Two Trees Inn. On June 3, after morning brunch at the inn, the group will visit Brotherhood Winery for a tour and lunch. The group will discuss this year’s Pulitzer Prize winner, “Olive Kitteridge” by Elizabeth Strout at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27. Ramsey DARE Idol Show set Judges have selected the top 10 performers for the Fourth Annual “Ramsey DARE Idol Show” and advanced them to the final round. Some 167 DARE students auditioned this year. On May 30, a live audience will vote to determine the 2009 Ramsey DARE Idol. The show will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Don Bosco High School. Tickets are expected to sellout quickly. Senior news The Mother’s Day luncheon will be held at the Finch Park center on Thursday, May 21 at noon. Food with an Italian flair will be on the menu. There will be a variety of hot hero sandwiches, salad, and desserts. Sign up at the borough hall. Price is $7 per person. Sunday movies with Bea and Marge will present “Slumdog Millionaire” this week at 1 p.m. The movie won this year’s Academy Award. Outdoor activities have begun. Men play bocce every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 1 p.m. at the Ramsey Pool. The women play on Thursday at 1 p.m. Any senior resident over the age of 60 is invited to join the fun.
