Borough honors police, welcomes new OEM members
Five recently retired members of the Ramsey Police Department were recognized for a total of almost 140 years of service to the borough, nine new members were appointed to the Ramsey Office of Emergency Management, and a Ramsey detective was issued a commendation for meritorious service. person for their service to the Ramsey Police Department. Ptl. Matthew Mistretta was unable to attend. Mayor Christopher Botta adn Police Chief Bryan Gurney commended Detective Brian Huth, who received an official citation from Public Safety Chairman Bill Jones. Det. Huth was instrumental in arresting a burglary ring that
had committed several area house burglaries. The newest members of the Ramsey Office of Emergency Management are Michael McMahon, James Abbott, Shivaraj Shan, Tyler Buysse, Jacqueline Gersht, Anthony Sanchez, and Scott Deas. Sawyer Rosenstein and Joseph Lara were unable to attend.
