Mutual aid companies from surrounding towns, including Suffern and Tallman, New York, helped supply five aerial ladder trucks and a dozen pumpers to extinguish the blaze. The Ramsey Ambulance Corps, Ramsey Rescue Squad, and Ramsey Police Department provided traffic and crowd control, logistical support, and first responder rehabilitation.The Ramsey Office of Emergency Management filed reports with the New Jersey State Police OEM and the Bergen County Police Department OEM. The New Jersey State Police Office of Emergency Management recently conducted a two-day Multi-Hazards Emergency Planning for Schools seminar at the Law & Public Safety Institute in Mahwah.
