He was an electrical engineer for various telecommunications companies including Western Union, Motorola, and World Com. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, his children, Janet Degelman of Waldwick, Paul Barnabic of Ramsey and Thomas Barnabic of Silt, Colorado, and six grandchildren. She was 97. Before retiring, she was employed at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for 44 years. She is survived by her niece, Carol Kruse, and nephews Robert W. Kay, and John Kay. Bohde Jr., of Ramsey died Feb. 21. He has 80. After a 50-year career in the insurance industry, he retired from W.M. Ross Insurance Agency. He was chairman of Continental Insurance Company Agents Council and president of the New Jersey Fielders Association. He was a member of Saint Paul RC Church in Ramsey. He volunteered for the Boy Scouts in Ramsey and in Paramus where he served as Scoutmaster. He was also a baseball coach in the Ramsey Pony League. He served as president of the Suburban Mayfair Bowling League and of the Ramsey Clubbers Bowling League. He was a member of High Mountain Golf Club in Franklin Lakes, Activities Unlimited in Wyckoff, and the Rutherford High School Athletic Hall of Fame. He is survived by his children, William M. Bohde of Kansas City, Missouri, Barbara J. Rubert of West Long Branch, Thomas J. Bohde of Mahwah, and John R. Bohde of Orlando, Florida, nine grandchildren, and his sister Edith Koester of Gray, Tennessee. He was predeceased by his wife, Aileen, his son, Robert John and his parents, William and Elsa Bohde. Luisi of Mahwah died Feb. 19. He was 61. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of Viet Nam. Before retiring he had worked for PSE&G. He is survived by his mother, Alice Carey of Cornwall, New York, and his sister Deborah DeMarino of Newburgh, New York. He was predeceased by his sister Marie Riker. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He practiced medicine for over 50 years and was on staff at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, Meadowlands Hospital in Secaucus, and had an office in Cliffside Park. He is survived by his wife Debra Davis McDonald, his children Anthony McDonald, Lisanne McDonald, Bruce McDonald, Susan Corcoran, and Jane Estes, four grandchildren, and his former spouse Kathleen Barry McDonald. Charles Donald Montgomery, Ph.D. of Ho-Ho-Kus, formerly of Ridgewood died Feb. 24. He was 78. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Before retiring in 1995, he was dean of students and an English teacher at Ridgewood High School. He was a member of West Side Presbyterian Church and Saint Bartholomew’s Church in Ho-Ho-Kus and a member of the Hobbyists and tennis and hiking groups. He is survived by his wife June (nee Barr), children Marc Montgomery of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Meg Montgomery of Brooklyn, New York, stepchildren Fiona McNamara of Mahwah and Jeremy Miller of Jersey of the Channel Islands, six grandchildren, and his former wife Carol Montgomery of Brooklyn, New York.
