The event will take place Wednesday, June 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Valley Hospital’s Robert and Audrey Luckow Pavilion, Second Floor, One Valley Health Plaza, Paramus. On hand will be professionals from the Image Recovery Center and a representative from Amoena, Inc., who will provide custom fittings and answer questions. Amoena is widely considered the industry leader in breast care products for women who have undergone surgery. As part of the event, all bathing suits will be 30 percent off. Fell House supporters celebrate designation Allendale’s Fell House, the stately white mansion down the street from the Celery Farm parking lot on Franklin Turnpike, has recently been named one of the state’s 10 Most Endangered Historic Sites. To celebrate this new honor, and help raise awareness and funds to save this treasure, the Concerned Citizens of Allendale will hold a fundraiser at Allendale Bar and Grill on Monday, June 29 from 5 p.m. to closing. Buy a designated beverage, and part of the proceeds will go to the Concerned Citizens of Allendale, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving this landmark. Learn why the house has historical and environmental value. Fundraising will continue throughout the summer on July 27 and Aug. 31. Choral Society presents concert New Jersey Choral Society presents “Legacy and Legend” a tribute to Haydn’s bicentennial and a world premiere by prominent conductor and composer Ed Lojeski. Under the direction of conductor Eric Dale Knapp, with Lojeski serving as guest conductor for his own composition, the concert will be presented on Saturday, June 13 at 8 p.m. in the West Side Presbyterian Church, 6 South Monroe Street in Ridgewood. One of Haydn’s most compelling masses, “Heiligmesse: Missa Sancti Bernardi von Offida” will be the primary highlight of the program. NJCS will be joined by the Connecticut Choral Society to perform this magnificent composition by one of the great masters of classical music. The world premiere of Lojeski’s “Psalms of the Passover” will also be featured. This major work was composed in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Israel becoming a state, using the texts of Psalms 113-318 as its foundation. NJCS will be accompanied by pianist Linda SweetmanWaters of Ridgewood. Violin, cello, and clarinet accompanists will also perform. Other works featured in the program include “Antiphon” by Ralph Vaughan Williams and “Heillig” by Mendelssohn. The Inside Line, a complimentary pre-concert lecture, will be presented by Lojeski at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission; $17 for students, seniors, and patrons with disabilities. Tickets purchased at the door will cost an additional $3 each. The West Side Presbyterian Church is wheelchair accessible and large print and Braille programs are available with two weeks notice. IAUC to discuss Mother Jones The next meeting of Chapter Fifth and Ninth CD of the Irish American Unity Conference will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Christ Church, 3 Cottage Place in Ridgewood. The guest speaker will be Dr. Francis Holt, who will discuss Mary Harris (Mother) Jones. Jones emigrated from Cork to the United States when she was a child. She was active in the labor movement most of her life, including the rail strike of 1877 in Pittsburgh and the coal fields of Pennsylvania.
