In February, she was approached by Marisa Walker, the magazine’s editor, while attending the Athletic Championships in Rhode Island with her All Star Team, CC Champs. Buffalino is pictured and featured as “Cheerleader of the Month” in the July/August issue of the national magazine, and is the recipient of a $1,500 scholarship. She can also be seen on americancheerleader.com and YouTube. She is one of only six cheerleaders honored and chosen nationally per year for this award, and she will have an additional opportunity to vie for “Cheerleader of the Year” and an additional scholarship. Buffalino is currently on two cheerleading teams; CC Champs, All-Star Team in Waldwick, and the Ramsey High School Varsity Cheerleading Squad. She has been cheerleading since she was eight years old.
