Ramsey
Ramsey residents who are interested in serving on the local board of education are invited to send a letter of interest and a resume to Board Secretary Robert Marcotulli by July 17. Items may be sent to the Ramsey Board of Education, 266 East Main Street, Ramsey, NJ 07446. Plans call for the school board to interview candidates this month and appoint a new trustee in August. The appointee to the unexpired term will serve on the board until April 1010, and will then be required to run for election to a new full three-year term. The vacancy on the school board occurred in late June, when Erik Endress tendered his resignation. Endress, who had been a trustee for five years, accepted a position with the New Jersey School Boards Association.
