Schaefer to the foundation’s board of governors. All were appointed to three-year terms. Davino is vice president/branch sales manager for Valley National Bank, managing the corporate office. Her community service includes work as vice chair of Saint Joseph’s Wayne Hospital Foundation and leadership positions with Rotary International and the Tri-County Chamber of Commerce. She lives in Upper Saddle River. Orchowski is vice president of the eastern region of BMW of North America, LLC. He has been with BMW for 24 years serving in various managerial positions. Orchowski has served as a company liaison with Spelman College’s Corporate Partners Program and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. He lives in Cornwall, New York. Until her retirement in 2006, Schaefer maintained a private psychotherapy practice in Ridgewood, New Jersey specializing in individual, couples, adolescents and family counseling. She serves on the board of trustees of the Hackensack University Medical Center, as secretary of the board of directors of the American Skin Association, chairman of the New York Philharmonic Patron’s Tour and co-president of the board of directors of The Little Orchestra Society, among other activities. In 1998, Schaefer received Ramapo College’s President’s Award of Merit. She lives in Franklin Lakes. “We are most fortunate to have the leadership and commitment of Carol, Patricia and Wayne on our board of governors,” said Cathleen Davey, executive director of the Ramapo College Foundation. “They will certainly advance our strategic goals and enhance our partnerships with members and businesses in the community.” Members of the board act as ambassadors for the college and the foundation, actively participate on committees and ensure the foundation’s legal, financial and ethical integrity. They also support foundation events that fund scholarships, faculty research and college projects. Ramapo College is located in Mahwah.
