McGlade was recognized for her contributions and achievements to the school and community that exemplify the ideals of Dr. King. Bergen County Executive Dennis McNerney honored McGlade at the annual Bergen County Birthday observance of Dr. King at which time she was presented with the Youth Certificate of Merit. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar and Urban Scholar awards. Each year, more than 7,000 students statewide receive scholarships in recognition of their high level of academic achievement.
