He was 90. He was the founder of Gilsenan and Company, and established the Multiple Listing Service in Bergen County. He was chairman of the board of the Jersey Bank for Savings of Montvale and River Edge. He established the Knights of Columbus in Ridgewood. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, and the Ridgewood Planning Board. He was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Ridgewood, and current parishioner of Saint Gabriel’s in Saddle River. He is survived by his wife Gladys, nee Bonaldi, his children Richard III of Waldwick, Mary Gilsenan Lanni of Ho-Ho-Kus, John Gilsenan of Ho-Ho-Kus, and David Gilsenan of Ho-Ho-Kus, and ﬁve grandchildren. McPhillips of Mahwah died Jan. 1. He was 77. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Before retiring in 1995, he was employed by Ramapo College.
