Angelina Cavalluzzi, nee DeCara, of Mahwah died Feb. 15. She was 82. She is survived by her husband Anthony Cavalluzzi and her siblings Mary Parentini and Thomas G. DeCara. She was a former member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Teaneck and the Woman’s Guild. She is survived by her children Barbara A. Bergman and Joan Stacy, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and her brother Frank Benesch. She was predeceased by her husband Franklin. Arrangements were made by Barrett Funeral Home in Tenafly. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Evelyn L. Friedmann of Ridgewood died Feb. 18. She was 94. She was a member of the Ridgewood Woman’s Club, the Ho-Ho-Kus Woman’s Club, and the West Side Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood. She was survived by her children Roy Burton and Nancy Kennedy, four grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Arrangements were made by C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Clara Helen “Sunshine” Finucane of Ridgewood died Feb. 14. She was 92. Arrangements were made by Shook Funeral Home in Clifton.

Joseph Daniel Kutz, formerly of Ridgewood, died Feb. 13. He was 87. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He worked in the brewing industry, as did his father and grandfather, and retired from the Schaefer Brewing Company in 1980. He managed Little League teams in Ridgewood during the 1960s. He was a member of the Paramus Walker’s Club. He is survived by his wife Mildred, his children Ron Kutz of Plano, Nancy Cornette of Columbia, South Carolina, three grandchildren and his sister Marion Schnoor of Hudson, Florida. Memorial donations may be made to any veterans’ organization. Walter Long of Allendale died Feb. 15. He was 83. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Prior to retiring, he was a metal import broker with Billiton, Ltd. in New York City. He is survived by his wife Jo-Nelle Long, his children Donna LaTourette and Steven Long, both of Fair Lawn and Robert Long of Mahwah, and three grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Colonial Home in Fair Lawn. He was 87. Prior to retiring, he was a jeweler/sales associate with the S. Marsh & Sons Company in Millburn for over 25 years. Previously, he was employed as an importer/exporter for the H Heacock & Sons Company based in the Philippines. He was a parishioner of Saint Catharine R.C. Church in Glen Rock. He is survived by his wife Theresa (nee Gonzalez), his children Bobby Peters and Joan Reilly, two grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Dorothy Schriner. She taught seventh grade science and history at Saint Paul Interparochial School in Ramsey from 1966-1982. She was a parishioner of Saint Paul RC Church in Ramsey, and a member of the original Rosary Altar Society. She is survived by her husband James A. Rogers Jr., and her children Matt Rogers of Ridgewood, Nancy Bontempo of Monmouth Hills, and Liam Rogers of Ho-Ho-Kus, and 13 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons Jim and Tom. He is survived by his wife, Joan S., nee Schleicher, Williamson; his children, Susan Chilcott of Greensboro, North Carolina, Sarah Beddow of Bellevue, Washington, David Williamson of El Dorado Hills, California, Roger Williamson of Ridgewood, and Douglas Williamson of Boynton Beach, Florida; 10 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
