Ramsey February 18, 2009 THE VILLADOM TIMES IV • Page 15 Republican Party hosts Annual Winter Brunch Some 150 people packed the ballroom at the Ramsey Golf and Country Club to hear presentations from Republican gubernatorial hopefuls Federal Prosecutor Christopher Christie, Franklin Township Mayor Brian Levine, former Bogota Mayor Steve Lonegan, and Assemblyman Richard Merkt. Originally sponsored by the Ramsey Republican Club, the gathering was also hosted by the Allendale, Franklin Lakes, Oakland, Saddle River and Upper Saddle River Republican clubs. Ramsey Republican Club President Bridget Daul Kelly thanked the honored guests for adding the annual affair to their busy schedules. She introduced state, county, and local elected officials and all of the presidents of the local Republican clubs, including Todd Fliegel of Allendale, Lisa Costello of Franklin Lakes, Emmett Johnson of Oakland, Amy Fisher of Saddle River, and Vincent Durante of Upper Saddle River. Ramsey Mayor Christopher Botta then introduced the gubernatorial candidates. Other Ramsey officials in attendance included Council President Deirdre Dillon, Councilmen Bill Jones, Art Nalbandian, Andrew Siemsen and Bruce Vozeh, and Councilwoman Vanessa Jachzel. Republican State Chairman Tom Wilson and Republican State Finance Chairman Rob Ortiz offered closing remarks.
